Two months since BC...I still don't know if I have enough hair to try to type it, but it looks kinda 3c-4bish.

Big Chop

After 7 months of transitioning, and my first semester of college I decided that I'd had enough of the two textures on my head. I tried braids, braid outs, and flat ironing, but it seemed like nothing could tame the two textures. So my first day home I called my friend up and asked her to chop my hair off. She was kind of hesistant at first, but I con'd her into doing it.

A few days later I went to the barber shop to have the excess perm removed.

Transitioning

Okay so we all know college is full of transitions, inside and out. I've been here for a little over two months and already I've been through two sets of braids, and countless other hairstyles. So, I've decided that it's time for a bigger transition, on that takes me from half relaxed half natural to a TWA(teeny weeny afro). I don't know yet whether or not I'm going to make the BC(big chop) during Thanksgiving break or wait a little longer until Next Semester, the anticipation is killing me.

College Life

I haven't posted anything in awhile. So, here is an update on My college standing. I do not attended Drexel University. Rather, I go to Kent State University. The school is in a very rural town with not much to do but I try to make the best of it. I've been here a little over a month now and have managed not to get wasted and party Thursday through Saturday. I am a member of the Fashion Student Organization, and am currently undergoing the try out process to become apart of the Dynasty dance team.

Tattoo

I got my first tattoo a couple of weeks ago. It's not a peacock feather becaused I punked out and wanted to something smaller. So, I got a peace sign behind my ear. I didnt hurt at all and now I'm ready for another one.

Decision

I am officially a Drexel Dragon. I sent in my deposit, and have received my school email address. There's still some outlying factors on determining whether or not I am going to attend. The first is the status of my application for Kent State University, the second is scholarships money. If Kent doesn't accept me and I don't receive any scholarship money well than you can catch me at the same place I've been for the past couple of years because I will be attending Baltimore City Community College.
